Choosing OMP extinguisher parts
The parts fall into a few groups, so it helps to know which section of the system you are working on.
- Mounting: OMP brackets in sizes from 108 to 132 mm, for securing the extinguisher bottle in the car.
- Discharge line: tubing and nozzles, which carry the extinguishant from the bottle to the outlets.
- Connectors and fittings: L and T connectors, straight connections, reduction fittings and anti-torpedo adapters.
- Activation: pull cables and cable sheaths in 8 mm and 10 mm sizes for mechanical release, and electric control boxes for electrically triggered systems. Exterior push button switches and covers allow the system to be set off from outside the car.
Before ordering, compare the sizes in the product names, particularly for brackets, tubing and cable sheaths, with the parts already fitted to your car. Connectors and fittings are easier to choose when you know the layout of your discharge line.
