Stilo Helmets

( number of products: 39 )

Our Stilo helmets cover rally, circuit and offshore racing, with FIA-homologated helmets alongside models certified to the CMR standard. Shells are made of carbon or composite. The range also includes open-face jet models and Hans versions for drivers who race with a HANS device.

Choosing a Stilo helmet

Start with the discipline. Stilo marks each helmet with its intended use, so you will find Rally, Turismo and Offshore versions here. The Offshore helmets are built for powerboat racing. If you prefer an open-face design, look for the jet models.

Next, check the homologation. Helmets marked (FIA) carry FIA homologation. Before you buy, make sure the exact FIA standard matches the regulations of your series. Helmets marked CMR are certified to a separate standard, so check that it is accepted in the class you race in.

HANS is the frontal head and neck restraint required in many FIA championships. If your series demands one, the Hans versions are worth a look.

To compare manufacturers, see our Bell helmets, OMP helmets and Sparco helmets, or browse every brand in helmets. For the kart track, there is a separate selection of karting helmets.

What is the difference between a Stilo rally helmet and a Turismo helmet?

Stilo uses Rally for helmets aimed at stage rallying and Turismo for circuit and touring car racing. Several helmets come in both versions with the same shell material. The suffix in the name tells you which discipline the helmet is intended for, so pick the version that matches the events you enter.

Is a carbon Stilo helmet worth choosing over a composite one?

Carbon shells are generally lighter than composite ones. A lighter helmet reduces the load on your neck over a long stint or stage. Composite shells are usually the more affordable option. You will find FIA-homologated rally and Turismo helmets in both materials, so weight and budget are the main factors. Check the specific FIA standard of the helmet you pick all the same.
