Many parts are made for a particular helmet or visor type, and some product names state whether they fit full face or open face helmets.
Choosing helmet accessories
Visors make up the largest group. Bell, Stilo, Sparco and OMP Racing visors come in clear, tinted, smoked and mirrored versions, and some have an iridium finish. Stilo also offers double glaze visors, a twin-layer construction often chosen to reduce fogging, and short visors, while Sparco has long visors for open face helmets. Peaks include carbon versions from Bell, Sparco and Stilo. Bell sun strips and Stilo sun shades cut glare at the top of the visor.
Tear-off kits from Bell, OMP Racing, Sparco and Stilo add thin clear films to the visor that the driver pulls away when the view gets dirty during a session.
For communication, Stilo and Sparco offer intercom kits and amplifiers, some in plug and socket versions. Stilo headsets for full face helmets come in in-ear and earmuff designs, OMP Racing has a headset with a microphone for open helmets, and Stilo adds rally headsets and helmet speakers for driver and co-driver.

Will an F1 helmet visor fit my helmet?
Only if it is made for that helmet. A visor is shaped to a specific shell and its pivot points, so check that the visor or helmet designation in the product name matches your helmet before ordering. Where a visor is fitted with separate screws or a mounting kit, order the matching kit at the same time.
