Building a complete OMP underwear layer
The layer is built on a pair of long johns and a roll-neck underwear top. Boxer shorts, underwear shorts and T-shirts sit alongside them, and socks and balaclavas complete the kit. The balaclavas include an open-face version, kids' balaclavas for young drivers and a multi-pack set.
OMP makes FIA-homologated underwear in several product lines, so the same garment type appears at more than one level. Long johns, roll-neck tops, boxer shorts, socks and balaclavas all come in FIA versions, as do the pieces cut for women. If your championship requires homologated kit, choose the FIA versions.
In FIA-regulated circuit racing and rallying, the rules usually require fire-resistant underwear covering the arms, legs and neck, worn with a balaclava and socks under a homologated race suit. Requirements differ between championships and national federations, so check the regulations of your series.
