Sabelt Harnesses

( number of products: 14 )

Our Sabelt harnesses are ECE-approved 3-point and 4-point seat belts with 2-inch webbing. Both layouts come in bolt-on and snap-hook versions, and some 3-point harnesses combine the two fittings in one belt. The range also includes Sabelt shoulder pads that fit over the shoulder straps for added comfort.

Choosing a Sabelt harness

Every belt here has 2-inch webbing and ECE approval, the type approval for seat belts fitted to road vehicles. That leaves two decisions: how many mounting points you need and how the belt attaches to the car.

Bolt-on harnesses are bolted directly to the anchorage points. Snap-hook versions clip onto eye bolts, so the belt is quicker to remove. Harnesses marked Bolt-On/Snap Hook use both fixing types. Check which anchorages your car has before ordering, because they decide which fitting will work.

To compare Sabelt with other makers, have a look at our OMP harnesses or the range of Sparco harnesses. All brands are listed together in the main harnesses section, and pads from other makers are in harness pads.

What is the difference between a 3-point and a 4-point harness?

A 3-point harness follows the layout of a standard car seat belt, with a lap strap and a single diagonal strap across the chest. A 4-point harness uses two shoulder straps together with the lap belt, which holds both shoulders in place.

What are Sabelt harness pads for?

Sabelt shoulder pads sit on the shoulder straps and cushion the webbing where it rests on the collarbones. This makes a tight harness more comfortable on longer drives.
