How to choose a racing model
The range falls into four groups: model cars for display, LEGO building sets, miniature helmets and RC cars you can actually drive. Model cars are sorted by scale, and the scale decides the size. 1:18 scale models are more than twice as long as the same car among the 1:43 scale models. The larger format works as a single centrepiece on a desk or shelf, while the compact one lets you line up several cars from one team in little space. Sizes outside these two are grouped under other scale models.
Formula 1 and beyond
Away from the F1 grid, Toyota Gazoo Racing brings rally cars from the WRC, Dakar rally-raid cars and hybrid machines from the World Endurance Championship. Endurance fans will also find Le Mans hypercars in AF Corse colours.
LEGO sets suit fans who would rather build the car than unbox it. Besides modern F1 cars, the LEGO range includes classic McLaren and Williams Formula 1 cars, as well as miniature helmets to build. Ready-made miniature helmets reproduce the designs drivers wear on track, and some carry special graphics created for a single Grand Prix.
For something to drive rather than display, there are RC cars from Toyota Gazoo Racing and Hyundai Motorsport, covering rally, Dakar and WEC machines, plus slot car racing with Toyota Gazoo Racing rally cars.

Is there a LEGO Mercedes F1 car?
Yes. A LEGO Mercedes-AMG F1 car sits in the range alongside LEGO F1 cars from Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull Racing and Audi.
Do the F1 model cars come in different versions for each driver?
Most F1 model cars from McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin are made in a separate version for each driver, so you can pick the car of the driver you follow. Selected ones are finished in the livery a car carried at a particular Grand Prix, which differs from its standard paintwork.
