Kill Switches
( number of products: 2 )OMP kill switches handle the electrical cut-off in a race or rally car's safety equipment. The selection includes a 2-pole battery master switch with a removable key, an exterior push button switch designed to be fitted on the outside of the car, and a rubber cover made for that push button.
The battery master switch cuts the power through two poles. Once the power is off, the key can be removed. The exterior push button switch is also 2-pole. It is water resistant and secured with a threaded fixing nut, so it suits mounting on the outside of the car. The push button cover is a rubber ring made for this OMP switch. You can order it together with the switch or later as a replacement.
Kill switches sit within fire extinguishing systems. For the extinguisher itself, you can choose between plumbed-in extinguisher systems, which are installed permanently in the car, and portable handheld extinguishers. Components for completing an existing setup are listed under extinguisher parts.
