SEATS

( number of products: 299 )

This section brings together racing seats from Sparco, OMP and Sabelt, from FIA-homologated competition shells and carbon seats to XL versions with a roomier fit. The Sparco seats include models in Martini Racing livery, the OMP seats add Alcantara and carbon-and-leather trims, and the Sabelt seats are FIA-homologated, with selected models in M and L sizes. Karting seats, mounting frames, sliders and pads complete the range.

What to check first

Most seats here are FIA-homologated, so if your championship regulations require a homologated seat, that narrows the choice straight away. After that, the decision comes down to shell material and size. For karts, the OMP karting seats include flat and half-transparent shells.

Mounting frames, pads and belt guides

Frames, side mounts and other fitting parts are grouped in mounts and accessories. Universal options include an OMP weld-in frame and a Sparco universal bottom mount. There are also side mount brackets and frames in aluminium and steel, an OMP side frame with damper, seat sliders, adapters, spacers and bolt kits. Some Sparco frames are designed for particular Sparco seats rather than for a particular car.

To fine-tune the fit, there are seat pad kits matched to specific Sparco seats, lumbar pads, leg support pads and off-road pads. OMP side and top belt guides help keep the straps of your harnesses in position.

Next to the seat, a competition cockpit usually also needs a wheel from our steering wheels section and an onboard system from fire extinguishing systems. Further parts are in accessories, and everything for the car itself is collected under car equipment.

How is a racing bucket seat fitted to a car?

The seat is usually fixed with side mounts or a bottom mount, which sit on a frame attached to the car floor. Sparco makes frames for specific models, including the Honda Civic 3-door, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, Nissan Skyline R34 and Porsche 996/997, mostly as separate left and right versions, so pick the side that matches the seat position. For other cars, the universal frames and mounts are an option.
