Race suits, boots, gloves and underwear
The race suits, racing boots and racing gloves include FIA-homologated models. Some boots and gloves share colourways with the suits, which makes it easier to put together a coordinated outfit. Footwear is in the OMP race boots section and hand protection in the OMP race gloves section.
Under the suit go the OMP fireproof underwear layers: long bottoms, roll-neck tops and balaclavas. FIA balaclavas sit alongside basic balaclavas and a multi-pack set, which is practical when kitting out several drivers. Choose your kit according to your discipline and the regulations of your event, and check the intended use and homologation of the specific model before buying.
For the head there are helmets with spare clear and tinted visors, plus a headset with microphone for open helmets. A rib protector and an elbow pad complete the personal kit.
Seats, harnesses and steering wheels
The bucket seats include FIA-homologated models. For fitting them, aluminium side mounting frames in two lengths and brackets are listed in the general mounts and accessories section.
OMP harnesses come in 4-point and 6-point versions, including FIA- and ECE-marked models and a pull-down 6-point design. Shoulder pads, eyebolts and seatbelt cutters complete the set-up, from a basic cutter to one with a hammer and torch.
OMP steering wheels differ mainly in rim covering, suede or leather, and in shape, with a rally version and a model with a horn button. Bolted quick-release hubs, with or without a connector, and spacers in several lengths let you adjust the wheel position.
Car preparation, co-driver and pit equipment
Car preparation parts include a hand-held fire extinguisher, a battery master switch, bonnet pins and a tow hook. Tyre pressure gauges come in analogue and digital versions. Co-drivers can choose an A4 notebook, a co-driver bag and a footrest. Mechanics will find mechanics suits, an apron and a set of pit board signs.
