Alpinestars GP Tech V4 Race Suit Navy Blue (FIA)
Alpinestars GP TECH V4 is the brand's top race suit, made from technically innovative materials. The manufacturer describes it as a solution that combines a high level of protection with better breathability and low weight, built around a new, breathable 3D Nomex® fabric.
This is a three-layer one-piece suit with FIA 8856-2018 homologation, designed for adult drivers competing in racing events.
Detailed look of the suit
The main body of the suit is a deep navy blue, complemented by black inserts on the sides of the torso, under the arms, on the back, around the knees, and at the cuffs and leg ends. Red accents appear on the lower leg sections, at the front and the back. The Alpinestars logo sits on the collar, shoulders, sleeves and lower back, while the brand's star decorates the legs. You will see an adjustable belt at the waist, and the front closes with a zip.
Construction and materials
- 3D Nomex® fabric: the new, breathable fabric delivers greater airflow and ventilation.
- Stretch panels: Superlight Nomex® in the lumbar area, on the elbows, knees and in the crotch.
- Shape: anatomically designed, pre-curved sleeves and legs.
- Ventilation: improved areas on the torso, sides and under the arms.
- Extraction handle: new Alpinestars F1 handle design.
- Zip and cuffs: metal YKK Premium zip with elasticated bands, plus lightweight knitted cuffs.
