Recaro Velix 1 Kid Child Seat Calm Blue

Recaro Velix 1 Kid Child Seat Calm

The Recaro Velix 1 is a car seat designed for children from 15 months to approximately 12 years of age, covering a height range of 76 to 150 cm and a weight range of 9-36 kg. Its design allows it to grow with your child over many years, eliminating the need for frequent replacements as they develop. Recaro combines an extensive safety system with features that enhance comfort during longer journeys.

The seat is secured to the vehicle via ISOFIX and meets the ECE R129 (i-Size) homologation standard, confirming compliance with the current European safety regulations for child car seats. The model is available in the Calm Blue colour variant - an intense blue that distinguishes the seat upholstery and side panels.

Detailed appearance of the child seat

The dominant colour of the Recaro Velix 1 Kid Calm Blue is a rich, saturated blue - covering the upholstery of the shell, headrest and side pads. The load-bearing structure and base are finished in black, which contrasts with the blue upholstery. The five-point harness straps are in a light grey shade, and the buckle is black with a red accent visible on the release mechanism. Embossed Recaro logos are visible on the side panels and in several places on the headrest. The rear section of the shell, entirely black, features honeycomb-pattern ventilation openings and side markings on both sides. The base of the seat incorporates an integrated ISOFIX mechanism with green correct-installation indicators.

Safety and comfort features

• ECE R129 (i-Size) homologation: the seat meets the requirements of the current European standard for child car seats.
• ISOFIX mounting: a rigid connection to the vehicle body provides stable and secure attachment of the seat.
• Adaptive Side Protection: a system of lateral protective panels that expand as the child grows, adapting to their build.
• 5-point harness with HERO system: the harness features a mechanism that prevents the straps from slipping and twisting, keeping them in the correct position.
• 3-point vehicle seat belt: the option to switch to the standard vehicle belt when the child reaches a height of 100 to 150 cm.
• Air circulation: additional openings in the rear of the seat shell improve ventilation during journeys.

For parents of young children travelling by car

The Recaro Velix 1 Kid Calm Blue is an ideal choice for families who want a long-lasting seat that keeps pace with a rapidly growing child. The adjustable recline, the wide height range (76-150 cm) and the option to switch to the 3-point vehicle belt at greater heights mean the seat does not need replacing for many seasons. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to move between different vehicles.
