Stilo ST6 CMR Carbon Zero Helmet (CMR)
Stilo ST6 CMR Carbon Zero is a closed, top-of-the-range karting helmet designed for young competitors racing in competitive karting. The entire outer shell is made from high-density carbon fibre using the Zero technology, resulting in an exceptionally low weight without compromising structural strength. The helmet meets the requirements of the CMR 2016 homologation, dedicated to competitors under 15 years of age.
The ST6 CMR Carbon Zero combines advanced technical solutions with practical driver comfort. A redesigned chin section, an updated visor and reworked cheek pads mean the helmet addresses the specific demands of karting competition - from visibility to stability on track.
Helmet design in detail
The outer shell is entirely covered in a characteristic carbon fibre weave in black with graphite light reflections - the weave structure is clearly visible across every surface of the helmet. The profile is compact and rounded, with no decorative paint graphics. The Stilo logo appears on the forehead in white with a red accent. On the side sections the helmet carries the model designation "CMR ZERO" in a subtle, light colour scheme. The clear visor is set in dark grey plastic mountings with distinct locking mechanisms on each side. A subtle Stilo logo appears on the visor itself. The chin ventilation elements are neatly integrated into the carbon fibre shell.
Construction and materials
- Shell material: high-density carbon fibre - low weight with full competitor protection.
- Zero technology: applied to the shell construction, delivering reduced weight compared to other helmets in the same homologation standard.
- Weight: 970 g (sizes 53-56) and 1010 g (sizes 57-59).
- Visor: dual-layer, clear, 3 mm thick - the widened visor aperture provides improved downward and lateral visibility; the new visor mounting system increases retention security.
- Ventilation: redesigned chin section construction with an improved airflow system.
- Homologation: CMR 2016 - a standard dedicated to competitors under 15 years of age.
For the young kart racer with a CMR licence
The Stilo ST6 CMR Carbon Zero is the choice for competitors racing in CMR-regulated classes - especially where a low helmet weight matters for the comfort and safety of a young driver throughout a full race weekend. The new cheek pads improve both comfort and fitting stability during driving, which is particularly important in intense competition. The helmet is compatible with optional aerodynamic spoilers fitted front and rear.
Why choose the Stilo ST6 CMR Carbon Zero?
- CMR 2016 homologation: the helmet holds a current CMR certificate, required in competition for riders under 15 years of age.
- Carbon fibre shell: the carbon construction delivers high strength while minimising helmet weight - especially significant in junior karting.
- Widened 3 mm visor: the dual-layer visor with an improved downward field of view reduces the blind spot and enhances track awareness.
- New chin construction: the redesigned chin ventilation system dissipates heat more effectively during driving.
- Stilo as manufacturer: a brand present on karting and racing circuits, specialising in protective equipment for competitors.
