OMP Rib Protector Black

OMP Rib Protector Black

OMP is a brand of equipment for drivers, and this rib protector is a piece of karting gear. It protects the rib area and is designed to give you comfort and safety in the cockpit.

This model comes in a multi-size version and is designed for adults. The all-black look pairs well with a karting suit.

Rib Protector in Detail

The rib protector has a solid black colour and a smooth, matte outer panel. Its cut resembles a short vest with a deep armhole cut-out and a rounded hem that wraps around the side of the torso. An embroidered yellow and black OMP logo sits on the shoulder. At the front you will see two black adjustable hook-and-loop straps, and at the back additional bands ensure a stable fit to your body. The edges are bound and the inside is softly contoured.

Comfort and Functionality

• Double fastening: two adjustable straps at the front let you fit the protector to your build.
• Shock-absorbing inserts: they add comfort and a higher level of protection around the ribs.
• Multi-size version: adjustment means it can be used by different drivers.
• Colour: black is versatile and discreet under your suit.

For Karting Drivers in the Kart Cockpit

This rib protector is made for adult karting drivers who want extra protection for their ribs on track. It works well in training and races, where an open cockpit and contact with the seat put strain on the sides of the torso.

Why Choose OMP?

• Rib protection: the design focuses on a vulnerable area of a driver's body.
• Adjustment: the double fastening at the front makes it quick to put on and take off.
• Cushioning: shock-absorbing inserts improve comfort in the cockpit.
• OMP brand: a recognisable mark on the shoulder and a manufacturer tied to motorsport.
• Simple colour: black suits any karting suit.
